Ibeacon NWR - Income Tax Mobile App
NWR Aayakar is a mobile application launched as part of an e-Governance and Green initiative aimed at enhancing administrative efficiency within the Income Tax Department, North West Region. This app serves as a comprehensive handbook, providing up-to-date contact details of officers up to the rank of ITO. It is designed to offer easy access to the latest officer information in a user-friendly format, ensuring quick and seamless communication within the department.
Naxtre's Contribution:
Naxtre Technologies has been instrumental in developing the NWR Aayakar app, leveraging their expertise to create a robust and intuitive platform. Naxtre’s involvement includes designing and building the app’s backend and interface, ensuring real-time updates and smooth navigation. Their development team worked closely with the Income Tax Department to ensure the app meets the highest standards of functionality and ease of use, contributing to a more efficient and digitally advanced department.

Users can get all the information regarding
the employees of each department. This information can be regarding their departments, designation and contact information. It also provides guest houses and offices details.

Training centres of Income Tax Department in
North West Region i.e Direct Taxes Regional Training Institute, Chandigarh and Ministerial Staff Training Units at Panchkula, Patiala, Ludhiana and Shimla.
Challenges We Faced for NWR
Interaction with API - When we have to interact with several servers where we have to share/connect a big amount of data and it could be a challenge to unite this backend within one access.
Third-party SDK - The challenge here is when we use, for example, Facebook SDK which is constantly updating, you have to control and be up-to-date so as not to allow the appearance of bugs.
Solution
- NWR Connect App contains information about the Income Tax department in North-West Region (Chandigarh). Users can get all the information regarding the employees of each department. This information can be regarding their departments, designation and contact information.
Visual Style
- We have chosen very basic and formal theme colors i.e White and Blue and the UI is also very basic according to the purpose of the app.
